Mr. Robot | Season 3 Finale Deep Dive Recap

After taking some time to recover from a metaphorical axe to the chest, Antonio Mazzaro (@acmazzaro) returns to the Mr. Robot podcast to talk all about the season three finale with Josh Wigler (@roundhoward). In their full deep dive into the final episode of season three, Josh and Antonio dig into Fernando Vera’s return, Phillip Price’s big reveal, Elliot and Mr. Robot’s reconciliation and much more.
There’s still one more Mr. Robot podcast planned this season: a final conversation with outgoing producer and writer Kor Adana. Send any questions and comments for that episode of the podcast through the normal channels: postshowrecaps.com/feedback and [email protected].
  • Finally! Haven’t listened yet but wanted to say hope you are feeling better Antonio. Couldn’t listen to these others till I got your take so thank you for doing this under those conditions. Get better soon :)))

Man-tonio is back! Hard to keep a good man down.

  • Can’t wait to dive into this one. Great interviews on the other 2!

Not a complaint, more a puzzling question.

How come White Rose ordered Leon to kill the henchmen at the barn? And she did the same ordering Grant to kill himself because Elliot had a suggestion for a logistics problem? Seemed heavy handed.

Loved the entire scene, but I was thinking what changes if White Rose leaves the henchman and Grant still alive? Is it time for her to get a new partner and this is part of the dating process? Holy Black Widow.

Thanks for the recap. I see the Super Friends forming and it will be Price, Angela, Elliot, Darlene and Dom fighting the Dark Army. They can hang out at Price’s Pancake Lair.

But Price is part of the 1% of the 1% so I’m curious to see how this is going to work.

      • TrentC

        The Purple Pants Badass?

        • XmanIce

True, White Rose has been ruthless and Angela doesn’t have a good relationship with the man she thought was her father.

          • TrentC

For sure. From what I understand Price was affected financially from the hack, but doesn’t command the hit squads on bikes or kill people to create a false narrative. He may have done those things, but we’re only being shown that almost all of the killings on the show have been directed by the Dark Army.

One of the big questions for me is who was actually behind the Washington Township incident that caused cancer? They first implied that Price was involved…now I’m not so sure. I believe he gained financially from it, but am foggy on the event itself.

I am not at all happy that the season 1 villan is back. I barely understood anything about this show in season 1 but I didn’t like this guy.
