    I watched this movie on Saturday. It was enjoyable, but I was not amazed like I was when I watched the original movie (original original, not the first remake). I do think that it was similar in tone/theme to the original though. I agree with you guys that Dawn is probably #2 in the franchise now. The visual fidelity was pretty incredible in the film, especially in 3D (which is how I watched it). They didn’t use the 3D as much as I expected, but whatever…

    I think that these new remakes are doing the franchise justice and I would definitely watch Dawn of the Planet of the Apes again.

    Very good film, i really enjoyed it. A solid 8 out of 10 from me. The podcast was also enjoyable. 🙂
