30 Rock | 10 Year Anniversary Podcast

Listen to the Podcast

30 Rock superfans Mike Bloom (@AMikeBloomType), Lita Brillman (@LitaTweeted), and Taylor Cotter (@TaylorCotter) decide to “go to there” and talk about the madcap comedy series on the 10 year anniversary of its premiere. The trio tackle a variety of topics, including:
  • Did the main characters change over the course of the series?
  • What are everyone’s favorite TGS workers and boyfriends/girlfriends of Liz and Jack?
  • What episodes do each person love, and do they believe 30 Rock ever dipped in terms of quality?
  • What effect has 30 Rock had on the comedy scene today, both with Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and other shows?
So pick up a bag of “Sabor de Soledad” chips, put on your “Rural Juror” DVD in the background, and enjoy!

You’re the one who is nice, BrenFitz!

Great podcast! The 10 year anniversary of one of my all time favourite sitcoms somehow snuck up on me. My only negative is that (unless I missed it) the podcast contains not even a mention of one Dr. Leo Spaceman, but otherwise I loved it. Also I cannot believe we all collectively missed an opportunity to do a 10 year Studio 60 retrospective/oral history/Paley Center hall of fame entry.

P.S. no one is allowed to leave a top level comment on this page unless their name is Brendan.

“what did you think of this?”

    “I don’t know, I was too young.”

Thanks for this podcast! I love 30 Rock/Kimmy Schmidt. My biggest take away from this is that one of the ladies doesn’t know anything about Alec Baldwin before 30 Rock and the other doesn’t know Mickey Rourke! It breaks my Gen X heart. I want to invite them both over to my house for a marathon movie night! lol
