DAREDEVIL: Nelson v Murdock | Season 1 Episode 10 Recap

daredevil110Listen to the Podcast:

After a one day hiatus, the greatest avocados in podcasting return with an all-new round of daily DAREDEVIL coverage!

Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Kevin Mahadeo (@kevmahadeo) break down the tenth episode of Marvel’s Netflix series, called “Nelson v Murdock: Dawn of Justice.” Okay, that subtitle isn’t real, but it oughta be — and no, the battle isn’t quite as physical as Batman versus Superman, but it’s nonetheless devastating to behold as Foggy learns all about Matt’s powers and nighttime activities. And they’re not the only ones facing devastation, either, as Wilson Fisk’s world gets turned upside down thanks to some bad bottles of champagne.

Keep up the good work guys… I’m binge listening to your show

The best way to do it is to binge it for that magical experience, and then listen to the podcast on a day to day basis. You get the best of both worlds!

Kinda felt this episode was the slowest moving of the bunch – not just because of the lack of action.

Pretty sure you’re wrong about when the flashbacks in college take place. Josh said 2001 because of the music playing, but on screen it says “Fall 2010″ on Foggy’s computer screen. Which makes sense I guess, since they just started practicing law in the first episode of the show, but I would have thought that it takes more than 4-5 years from starting college to being practicing lawyers. Doesn’t it also mean that both characters are in their early 20s now in the present? Someone correct me if I’m wrong. Elden Henson who plays Foggy, I was shocked to find out he’s already 37 years old. He looks much younger.

I loved the flashbacks and loved the Elektra reference. I think it’s a bit early to have Foggy find out, but if they think it’s the right choice then I trust it.
