Listen to the podcast:

Cry havoc, and let slip the Dogs of Hell!

Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Kevin Mahadeo (@kevmahadeo) fire up the Sons of Anarchy music as they dive into Marvel’s Daredevil season two episode two, called “Dogs to a Gunfight.” In the episode, Matt Murdock pursue Frank Castle’s trail, with unexpected results. Similar surprises are in store for lowlife criminal Grotto and his defense team of Foggy Nelson and Karen Page. Plus, Josh and Kevin do their best not to agitate an actual dog, because that’s how things go around these parts.

A new Daredevil podcast will drop every week day for the remainder of the season, continuing tomorrow with episode three, “New York’s Finest.”

Not liking Foggy doesn’t make any sense. He’s so funny! Only thing funnier, which was the funniest thing of the season, was in the pawn shop when that crackhead claimed to have an IKEA phone. It’s such a strange comment it made me laugh out loud.

I also love Melvin Potter. I don’t remember last season if you guys talked about a piece of armor you can see in the background. I didn’t see it until now but apparently it was there already last season and it looks exactly like Stilt Man’s suit. Stilt Man was one of the very first Daredevil villans who walks around on telescopic stilts and is generally a very lame D-list bad guy. Turk actually stole his suit once and if the show stays on for several more seasons maybe we’ll see Turk stumbling around on stilts as tall as skyscrapers.

Nice mention of The Class, it was a pretty funny show!

The Foggy dislike is reminiscent of Skylar on Breaking Bad.He’s critical of our protagonist which inherently turns the audience against him to an extant. I do think he’s one of the weaker actors on the show. Still, I find myself liking him far more than last season as he becomes a more competent attorney.
