Ten Trump jokes in a row, and none of them are original or have any new to say??????

SNL is so 1970 when NYC was mostly whites and blacks, but today NYC is way more Asian and Hispanic but SNL just hangs out in the “old days”. Except that now they suddenly made Weekend Update almost all black-white jokes that are as predictable and one-note as a “White People” category on “Black Jeopardy”.

    • Suzi!

Yeah I’m so sick of the Black vs White jokes. Most people are so over that.

  • Beck Bennett’s Adult Baby should not make me laugh as much as it does, but his movements are such an excellent piece of physical comedy

  • Last night I saw coming down sixth ave and talking the elevator to eight Rich saying how he saw Leslie’s “downward facing Colin” joke coming down sixth ave and down the halls to 8H! Way too forced.

Speaking of Update are we getting too much Pete Davidson and Leslie Jones? I feel like they switch who is on every week.

Real weird vibe to the show last night. Not sure if it happened in the West Coast version but the crowd started getting pretty vocal towards the end of the show. You can definitely hear some people shouting during the Black Jeopardy and the school dance sketches.

    • I especially noticed it in the Black Jeopardy sketch because Kenan acted like he was thrown off by it. I wonder if those particular audience members were the people from Toronto mentioned in Drake’s monologue, so they were happy to be insiders in that particular joke.

Is it just me or has the past two episodes been fairly light on Kenan? If that is the case, how does that impact the theory that Kenan is leaving after next episode?

  • Suzi!

Why can’t SNL get some decent hosts? It’s always the same boring people.

    • MCBAR

whom do you suggest? they try to get currently involved people.

      • Suzi!

Icons. I usually don’t know who these hosts are. And it seems like it’s always the same ones over and over.
I like icons like Steve Martin, or alumni the best.
