Last week it was debated if Ofelia was a player. It’s very apparent that she was pulling a nice long con with Daniel. Are you satisfied to see that Daniel’s dark stories lead somewhere practical and to now prevent loss and tragedy this time around?

  • Steve Davis

The tension on the screen was palpable watching Kimberly sniped. How real/terrifying do you think it felt as Travis held a gun to that “woman” and do you think it would have been good for him to pull the trigger in order to propel his character forward? Remember that this is only about 10 days after people were absolutely still people and not Walkers

  • Humberto Urrutia

Why is Nick so special everybody goes out of their way to save him? Ugh. Change your jacket #PsRecaps

    • Steve Davis

You would think Alicia would have gotten him a really nice one from that house!

  • Humberto Urrutia

Ok, let’s get real! Who dies next week?

  • Harriet Tubgirl

I loved the guy locked in the cell with Nick. That guy, even without his cufflinks, is a survivor.

    • Harriet Tubgirl

And what do we call him? Penned-in douche?

  • Steve Davis

What did you make of Daniel’s visit to the arena? Did he want to verify Adams’ story so that he ensure he was telling the truth about Cobalt?

  • Emily Stobs

Besides the military planning to pull out from the safe zone, are they going to take any of the survivors from the safe zone, or hospital? Or are they just planning on killing all of them?

  • Aisha Prater

Hey Guys!…so how would you react if you were MAdison and you knew Daniel had a U.S. sOLIDER TIED up and was about to skin him like a potato to get info…do you stop it, or ride it out like she did…

    • Jorge Alvarado

      Nice question lol

  • Emily Stobs

Can we trust this Victor Strand guy as an ally or someone you always have to watch your back around?

  • Legionwrex

Lt. Moyers is the best character and it’s not close. Hope he somehow survives.

  • Wesley”Walker”

Do you see a Walking Dead step-sibling romance developing? Those two seemed a little two twinkly eyed….

  • Wesley”Walker”

What was the deal with the black guy talking to the fat guy at the beginning? Do we k ow the back story on that guy and what did the fat guy do ?

    • Steve Davis

Fat guy was the neighbor who crashed his car last week, Doug. The guy, Strand, is a hustler

      • Wesley”Walker”

Thanks Steve. Forgot about the neighbor.

  • Wesley”Walker”

Do you guys the Jets will win the super bowl before the infected make their way out of LA?

    • Steve Davis

Only if this show goes 15 years…

  • Wesley”Walker”

Can you name a survivor contestant that reminds you of each of the main cast of FWD?

  • Rob Allison

Is it official? Our first name for walkers in LA comes from Lt Moyers? Skinbags

  • Rob Allison

What do you think the commune will do to mobilize once Cobalt is revealed to everyone? Will our group sneak away or inform the others in the encampment? I don’t think the army collected all the civilian weapons so I suppose Mr Salazar will be on a hunt soon.

  • Rob Allison

Lt Moyers didn’t make it back to the truck, do you think his men “took care” of him? Loved his line about “Do you think we are killers? but suspect we will see him in future episodes, one way or another.

  • Rob Allison

What do you think “humane termination” will be when Cobolt goes into effect? Gas? Doubt the army would nuke LA. Ideas?

    • Paul

Wasn’t it sorta shown that Atlanta was bombed at some point in time during the walking dead series? I feel like this could be the same.

  • Steve Davis

Where do you think the Military are planning to go once they give the Cobalt order?

  • @Wharfrat1625

I feel like the show really hit it’s stride this episode. Do you guys find this story more terrifying than anything we’ve seen in the Walking Dead proper? The notion of being trapped in an urban metropolis during the zombie apocalypse is way more horrifying to me than being out in rural America.

    See you guys Wednesday!

If the gang plans to leave the area at the end of the season, where is the most likely destination for season 2?

  • Fear the American Sniper! Couldn’t spot Bradley Cooper or the plastic baby though.

  • Joe Rickard

That definitely was not supposed to be Staples Center. It looked closer to the L.A. Forum but I don’t think this is supposed to be in Inglewood.

  • Steve Davis

Clarke House is in El Sereno…so a bit North of East LA

  • Maskedph

This show is slow. It is absolutely awful. George Romero is probably pissed. Your review should be more critical. Are you on the AMC payroll?

    • Carla Roman

      who’s review?

  • Stylez
    • HomerBrannon1

I would guess the Staples Center where the Lakers play, but I’m not an LA guy, either.

  • Carla Roman

about the Griselda thing. What she was commenting on was the fact that in their “past” as a couple she fell in love with Mr. Salazar but he was a persecutor and depending on the country he was involved in military and gov. killings and people disappearances “los desaparecidos” in history but she loved him anyway. I think it speaks to what the show is trying to do in relation to what is evil and good killing vs. surviving and in this time where the world is up in arms to save your family and yourself is doing what is necessary still evil.

  • Stylez

My guess would be that they hit the road to get the crew at the military hospital/prison, just because it would seem to converge those characters and the inevitable person that is joining from that plane (which is probably conveniently near the military hospital/prison.

Also… Skin bag just sounds like another way to say ball sack….

  • Carla Roman

I know the podcast hated the costume scene… but the show might also be adding a new storyline as in a romantic storyline (well playing with the idea) and also they are the youngest characters focused on… when Alicia looks in the mirror and sees herself dressed “older” it’s a revelation point. They will no longer have any of the typical coming-of-age experiences. It’s all over and they both Alicia and Chris know it.

    • HomerBrannon1

Yeah I didn’t think it was bad. They had to show those kids do something.

  • Wesley”Walker”

Do you think Rob C is ever going to make reference to my screen name? I thought it was extremely clever….

    • Steve Davis

I think he kind of did in the podcast….he gave a sarcastic “OH” when he read it.

      • Wesley”Walker”

I know… Sounded like he was excited and then kind of like whatever. It’s a shame that he doesn’t use the Jets more as a comparison in his shows. I definitely think we need more references.

I know that you guys thought that the whole scene in the barber shop between Chris and Daniel with the razor blade was random and that the fact that Daniel was a torturer turned barber doesn’t make sense, but it does. If you look at the history of barbers, they haven’t always just cut hair and give guys a shave. That’s a much more recent description of their job. For thousands of years, they were the local trained professional for dentistry, minor medical problems and small surgical procedures. They handled blades skillfully and had an understanding of human anatomy, granted not the understanding of a med school grad, but trained through apprenticeship. There are even published accounts of Latin American barber surgeons being licensed at the municipal level well into the 20th century. So aligning Daniel’s character (coming from El Salvador) as a torturer in his old life, with a barber in his new life, isn’t really such a stretch at all.

The series is mostly filmed in Vancouver, so I would guess it’s Rogers Arena, but who knows what LA arena they’re pretending it is.
