She learnt how to fight in the dark as her Faceless Men training? I thought she went water dancing there. 😛 When I saw her cutting the candle my mind directly went to when Arya got lost in the dungeons in King’s Landing. She’s all Syrio Forel like “quiet as a shadow, calm as still water, swift as a deer, etc”. If it had anything with Faceless stuff Waif could’ve bested her maybe.

I’m really interested to see how Sansa and Jon will win the battle I really want them to. but at the same time I hope it makes a little bit of sense because the vale army taking moat callin and sneaking on the boltons is just not possible Ramsey should know that the vale are coming considering they conquered moat callin and have an army heading towards Winterfell so we’ll see .. really good feedback show guys.. cheers

  • Next episode, we will have a huge BBQ.
Daenerys will eat some Master Kebabs.

It’s too bad that Rob had to bring logic n stuff into the discussion. I would love to see both wildfire and dragonfire used to roast the army of walking popsicles.

The Arya chase was truly early Jackie Chan. These writers didn’t have a twist because they aren’t GRR Martin.

    • GeekFurious

I thought the chase, which some SOMEHOW call “exciting” was laughably bad. Like, no moment of it was not cheesy. It was the type of scene you see people shoot for any number of comic book or Star Wars fan-films because they lack their own vision so they borrow one exactly. Everything about last week’s Arya plot was terrible. Not weak. Not low quality. Terrible. And I’m not one for hyperbole. It was the single worst thing GOT has delivered from virtually every frame of a sequence. That wasn’t GOT, it could have been anything.

    • Christine Larivière

“Early Jackie Chan”. LOL. Next, she will write with the big pen.

  • I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure the Americas aren’t one of the continents that Planetos as we know it so far bases off. Westeros is the United Kingdom with Dorne acting as Southern Europe (Spain/Portugal). Essos is the whole rest of Europe with the Dothraki Sea a kind of better weather Siberia replacement leading into Asia. Yi Ti (i think it’s called) is the Asia equivalent. Sothorys is Africa. Uthorys (spelling?) sounds like Australia but we don’t know much about that.

So west of Westeros as Arya mentioned would probably be a continent like the Americas that we haven’t heard of yet.

    • Christine Larivière

I think Gendry discovered the Americas by now.

Re: Lady Crane — all I could think for her prolonged role was that it’s going to dawn on her at some critical point that she interacted with the real Arya Stark?

    • TrentC

This next could be a stretch. How about Arya runs into Cersei, she remembers the kindness of Lady Crane, discovers Cersei has a heart and they bond. Then Arya rips it out.

Degrassi Next Class is a show that already titles their episodes with hashtags! 12 months, try 12 months ago!

Josh – ” You have a little Aryanst on you.”
Hilarious callback to one of the most wtf lines from another show we love

  • JCMac610

As always, I love listening to all three of your Game of Thrones Podcasts! Some of my thoughts on this episode and last weeks… I hated everything Arya! They completely botched that story. It made no sense with her in the cave blowing out the candle to whistling and skipping through streets throwing money around to then her being gravely stabbed but wait! Chicken soup, some stitches and milk of the poppy cured her and she is off to finish off the waif? That entire Arya portion of the episode last week was a waste. I was hoping her carelessness was on purpose to lure in the waif and make her think she was an easy target so she could finish her off. It just made no sense at all. And for my last comment…for next weeks episode, I think John Snow has the expression he does because they skinned Rickon. I think he is one of the people burning. I hope I am wrong, but I think they win Winterfell and lose Rickon.

  • GeekFurious

I cringed when I heard Rob mention Preston Jacobs. He’s a conspiracy theorist who has been and will continue to be proven wrong at most turns because he overthinks things and ignores that GRRM is NOT writing an extension of his previous sci-fi work.

    • kane

will rob wasn’t really talking about his sci-fi theory tho i agree that It is ridiculous but most of his other theories make allot of sense and has allot of evidence

    • I’m too far gone down the rabbit hole now, @geekfurious:disqus !

The BIG Death next episode has got to be Ramsey & the entire Boltons, right?? I just don’t see him surviving the battle whatsoever!!

The best possible scenario for his death has got to be by the hands of Sansa, am I right? Karma is a dish best served skinned~~ xDD Can’t wait to see Sansa get her revenge!! Hopefully she gets to skin him alive, castrate him, and then hang him to his death….can’t see anything else happening other than that…LOL….

Then we end the episode with Jon declining the offer to be warden of the North….and Sansa stepping in to help Winterfell rise from the Ashes of the Boltons’ demise!! (AND Hopefully with Arya arriving to witness the historic moment…..too good to be true?? I know!! Haha….I’m hopelessly optimistic!!!)

I’m preparing for my heart to be crushed……again….and again… T^T

Jaqen changed his face far from the House of Black and White in season 1 or 2 after he gave her the coin.
