Winter….is here. And so too is the arrival of the 2017 edition of our “Road to Westeros”, recapping and reviewing everything you need to know going into the pivotal seventh season of HBO’s hit dramatic series.

Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Rob Cesternino (@robcesternino) are once again spending seven days previewing the various characters, plotlines, regions and stories that currently set the table for season seven of “Game of Thrones”.  All seven days of “The Road to Westeros” were recorded before seeing the premiere of the new season of “Game of Thrones”.

On Day 2, Rob and Josh discuss all things House Stark: where they are, where they’ve been, and where they go from here on “The Road to Westeros”. Join us on Friday for Part three of this seven-part series, focusing primarily on Daenerys Targaryen, her conquest, and her dragons.

Curious to see what happens if Bran convinces Jon about his lineage. If/when Jon meets Dany, does he call her Auntie Dany and lose some of his political aspirations out of respect?

The main power struggles are at the forefront with Cersei, Sansa, Jon, Dany, Littlefinger, Varys and Tyrion, yet I find Arya’s future the most fascinating. With her formidable assassin skill set, she could take any number of people off the board.

Hi Trent! I don’t feel like Jon has political aspirations. He keeps getting elected to positions he had no ambition for, but he does his best once he gets the appointments because he’s so honorable. My bet would be that Jon offers to bend the knee to Dany if she’ll help eliminate the White Walker threat. He’s been very consistent for seasons now in viewing the WWs as the true threat.

Greetings fellow traveler! Yes Jon seems to be focused only on one war, the war in the north. I wonder how he will react to the news that he’s part Targaryen? As you say, honor is important to Jon Snow.

We’re about a half season past where the books ended, so I’m fascinated to see how the TV show handles the end of the series.

Noway Cersei doesnt die next season, I mean if there is power ranking to who is most likely to be killed off in season 7 of GOT, Cersei is on top of list, also I need a reminder of Varys and littlefinger interaction because I feel they are the two sides of the same coin but happen to be playing for different team on paper, to see a power struggle between them would be interesting, I mean by very clear power struggle.

Is hodor going to be part the white walker, can Bran see thru him again? I mean wasnt the hint the whole season that Bran will be a key factor in this battle against white walkers?
