erm, purple wedding is the best sequence in game of thrones ever, it is essence of the show, this battle is like a marvel movie fight, what is so special about hardhome lol other the night king in the end.

It was very unexpected and just a brutal Massacre. It also advances the plot in terms of a much larger threat. We have always known that the Walkers were a looming threat, but this sequence put an exclamation point on that. It emphasized that the walkers are the long-term enemies.

Red Wedding is more shocking than Purple Wedding. I also think that the Red Wedding takes away some surprise from the Purple Wedding. Since we just saw a horrible event occur at a wedding, the audience has a sense that something is going to go horribly wrong at this next (Purple) wedding

but Purple wedding had such great interactions between characters, it was game of thrones at it’s best, with introduction of one of the best characters ever on show, killing one of one despicable one, for me it was epic sequences, in terms of characters interaction, the end, the dialogue, the red wedding was just shocking, hardhome battle seriously doesnt hold up on rewatch as purple wedding does.

Great re-cap again guys. ‘Easyhome’ had me laughing quite a bit. Overall this episode was one of the best at the time because I don’t think people expected it to play out like it did, but even on a re-watch it’s spine-tingling.

P.S. The Aliens reference is apt. Helps to explain the heightened likeability to the ep.
