When Jon doesn’t kill the man, all hell breaks loose before Jon Snow can escape and leave Ygritte
  • Back at the Twins, the wedding of Edmure Tully and Walder Frey’s daughter goes off without a hitch. After Edmure and Walder’s daughter leave, the doors to the chamber are closed. Walder Frey tells Robb Stark how slighted he was by Robb not marrying his daughters. The song Rains of Castamere is played signaling the Lannister forces to begin slaughtering the Starks. Talisa is stabbed to death through the womb of her baby. Robb stark is shot by arrows. Catelyn Stark is also struck by arrows. “Firm Boobs and a Tight Fit” – the Denise Stapley sex therapy podcast?

In the books Robb’s relationship with Jeyne Westerling is very different to the one with Talisa. Rather than slowly falling in love with Jeyne, she “comforts” him when he’s grieving over Bran and Rickon. Then he marries her partly out of duty (to “preserve her honour”). It’s all very hasty and Catelyn isn’t even around, so it makes Robb seem like less of an idiot. But you can see why the show changed it – the more romantic story makes for a more shocking death.

Don’t forget her family is one of the small families under the Lannisters, and her family has a history of spell casting including love spells.

Jack Bauer does do this back in season 3 with Chase Edmunds. Empty gun. And yes I am watching a 2 year old podcast.
