Delores Edd…lol. Fantastic. Loved the breakdown of the beetle speech. Wish you’d hit on how many people really interpreted it as a metaphor for George RR Martin and how he treats the characters…

SaraMadridista’s favorite Game of Thrones episode 🙂

Don’t worry, the Red Viper comes back in Narcos and is okay.

    • SaraMadridista

I had a break down watching this episode on rewatch, I cried more this time than first watch because I remember on first watch I seen more of Red Viper than second watch, his impact was surreal considering how much he wasnt shown to be quite honest.

YAS he is in Narcos, but SPOILER alert, he leaves too 😭

I haven’t gone back to see/hear the original recaps for GoT until now. On video when the tremor hits Rob’s eyes go wide, he stutters a little and then keeps on talking about the episode.

I think Game of thrones dont award being naive people, that’s what we get from watching 4 seasons until Jon came back from death, that’s what I get from red viper death, he wasnt smart about what he have done, that’s where show lost it essence for me, I think the story is carried by Sansa and Cersei right now, to some extent Dane, so so what if Jon died, meh.

Barring Jon Snow’s death and the revival which ultimately reduced its impact, I feel like this episode was last great gut-punch in GoT. The Red Viper was such an enigmatic and likeable character.

P.S. Ahh Craster’s ghostly voice, you bring me to laugh 99 times.
