Yay, fun! I’m not a fan of the Netflix format of releasing all episodes at once. It definitely takes away some of the impact from the biggest moments when you can watch the next episode as soon as you want and don’t have a chance to discuss the latest episode with friends since no one has seen the same amount of episodes. So thanks for setting this up Rob; it worked out great last year and my girlfriend and I are excited to watch along with you and Zach this season!

So…remember how mad we all were at end of season 2 cause we thought they’d killed our favorite character? I did not see this turn of events coming. Thought for sure DS was gone forever. I really liked the bait and switch with the tombstone though.

    • Johnny De Silveira

I saw the spoiler of his survival when the season leaked for 30 minutes two weeks ago. I like this angle.

i’m so glad i didn’t see that spoiler. I’d have been sooooooo pissed off.

        • Johnny De Silveira

That was the only spoiler I saw. I took it as something to look forward to how they revealed it.

Rob, after the air strike on the terrorist, Frank and Claire walked up the stairs in the White House. On the wall of the landing there was a portrait of Harry Truman. Frank paused briefly to glance at it while Claire walked past without looking. As Truman was responsible for giving the OK to drop the atomic bombs on Japan, do you think that this was meant to draw a comparison between Frank and Claire’s historical awareness of his actions or was it meant to show a difference between their moral reservations about killing innocent civilians?

    • Great observation either way!

    • Nice catch. I always try to notice presidents pictured on the walls, but a lot of times it’s hard for me to make the connection they’re going for.

Slowing down with the episodes even further? I recall last season I had trouble already listening to latter half of the season podcasts as they got further away from when I watched the show, so I got less engaged. Why not just watch, record and release the podcasts quickly? Then everyone could find their own pace – one can always listen to older episodes later on, but can’t do the opposite.

    • Hey Hint, everything you says makes sense, it’s just a matter of scheduling the shows between Zach and myself. We’ll do our best to get through the 13 shows as fast as we can.

Could you guys put the email address of where to send questions, somewhere on the page? It was posted in the chatroom yesterday, but now I can’t find it anywhere and I want to make sure I send it to the right place. Thanks!
