Season 3 Episode 4 Even though the eggs were a theme in Episode 3 and there have been a lot of references to 9 and 18 month time periods. I don’t think that Claire is going to be pregnant. She was drinking heavily at the state dinner with the Russian president and with Kathy playing vodka pong. Also, a couple of months have passed and she seems completely focused on the UN job.
It would be interesting to put together a reel of all Frank’s religious references and scenes set in a church. There’s the time in Gaffney when he was in the pulpit, the time he blew out all the candles and addressed the devil at the altar, and now the broken crucifix. It’s quite the moral journey!
Keep up the great work on this podcast. I really like watching one episode at a time and listening to your discussion. Only 9 more! I think we’ll get to the Democratic convention.

    • Good point about her drinking, I hadn’t put two and two together on that. I think it might just be a theme vs. her actually being pregnant. But maybe we’re foreshadowing some pregnancy storyline later in the season.

I am beginning to wonder whether Frank has hidden Rachel and if it was Frank that instructed Rachel to take out Doug (for his getting sloppy last year) in exchange for her “freedom.” Just a theory at this point…

wow, Rob on Supreme Court Justices. They just sit there……hahaha. Yeah, there’s more to it than that.
