Usually grown when I see they are doing Whiskers R We but Kate and Kristen killed it. I couldn’t stop laughing.

overall, LOVE the XX and their music. just didn’t LOVE their performance this week. another great recap! thanks guys!

I liked this SNL a lot better than last week’s. (even though Chappelle’s writing was better). The performances overall were just sharper and far less flubbed. I never watched SNL much during Wiig’s run, so I’m more used to her playing the straight man (like Bridesmaids) or just dramatic (like The Martian) than her hamming it up. I hadn’t realized she had as much talent as she has for that. (though should have guessed that she had, being a successful SNL alum)

One thing I really liked about Kate McKinnon’s performance in the open, and it relates to something I criticized her on last week – I feel that the lines “this is all on my shoulders” and those on the similar vein were a bit a of a fourth wall breaking. Even though it almost certainly had no real bearing on the election, her portrayal of Conway, particularly her sympathetic portrayal ‘normalized’ the campaign.

It’s a silly little thing, but I did appreciate it, if it was intentional.

The Michael Che interview Rob referenced in the podcast. (I still strongly believe that Trump should NOT have been invited to host.)

Rich is always SO eager to jump in and talk over James.

If the most you have to contribute is “I don’t get it,” maybe you should just sit quietly and let someone else talk.

Loved the XX. Loved Kristen. Loved the episode. Even the “deleted scenes” on YouTube were perfect.

I think the reason why will forte didn’t do another sketch maybe is bec of his beard and do alumni get an extra cameo pass? What do you think

  • Mike Hasher

Was the reason why will forte didn’t reappear as macgruber or do gilly bec of his beard??? And rich do alumni get exempted from your cameo rule
