The LOST LIVES podcast series continues this week by going back to where it all began. Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) leads a discussion about eight standout stories, moments and episodes from the first season of LOST — from the jam-packed premiere and finale, to quieter moments like Hurley’s golf course.

He’s once again joined by guests Antonio Mazzaro (@acmazzaro) of The Leftovers Live on Post Show Recaps, AJ Mass (@AJMass) of ESPN and “Yes, It’s Hot In Here: Adventures in the Weird, Woolly World of Sports Mascots,” and Jo Garfein (@jopinionated) of Cancer Gets LOST and LOST 2014.

I liked this podcast more than the first for sure. I feel like you’re on the good way to hook me for a rewatch for sure. However i feel like Josh take to much screen time when they’re 4 people on the podcast. Hopefully it will be more even in the next podcast.

Loved this podcast. I had two weeks last month while I waited for my thesis to be revised and I binge re-watched the series, so this is perfect timing for me. You all have such great insight. Very enjoyable podcast and looking forward to following the series all summer.

I absolutely love these Lost podcasts! On the last Podcast, it was said that the show isn’t gaining new viewers from Netflix, etc, but I consider myself one of those fans. My friend recommended to me earlier this year, and I watched the first episode and was hooked instantly. I binge-watched the entire series in four months and now I’m a Lost fan for life. I really appreciate these podcasts since I wasn’t there for the media hype while Lost was airing, and have enjoyed them so far. Keep up the good work!

When you spoke about those things where you had to pay attention to and all that, I remembered going on a site I think it was called The Lost Ninja or something like that and it would give clues based on hidden things that were seen in that episode (only in season 2). Specifically there was the one where we see the smoke monster for the first time (when it confronts Eko) and the camera goes through it and we see flashing images of Eko’s past which are sorta hard to notice unless you pause it at the right time. Also, what Walt would say in backwards in the episodes he did. Sometimes I would be really happy when I myself noticed things that it showed, such as the DHARMA logo on the shark in episode 2. (I was like 10 when I watched LOST for the 1st, of many times, so I was very proud of myself)

Sorry for the long comment and I do very much enjoy the LOST LIVES PODCAST!!!!

Loving these podcasts. I swear I’ve seen season one at least fifteen times, and I’m always quoting the episodes when I introduce a new friend to the show. I’m hoping you all touch on the most iconic deaths on Lost at some point. I don’t know that I’ve ever been more surprised with a death than when Alex died in season four. Didn’t think they had the guts to do it. I know I don’t have the credentials, but if you ever need an extra man to join the discussions, hit me up!
