Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2 Episode 11 Recap | .380

If the whole “shoot everything that moves” thing doesn’t work out, Frank Castle has a promising future as a matchmaker.

That’s one of the big takeaways from “.380,” the eleventh episode of Marvel’s Daredevil season two, according to Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Kevin Mahadeo (@kevmahadeo). They talk about Karen Page and the Punisher’s diner dinner date that results in lots of love advice and even more bloodshed, as is the custom with all things Frank Castle.

For the most part, Josh and Kevin look at “.380” as a “chess pieces” episode, an installment that moves the characters and stories closer to their inevitable conclusion — even if the episode itself is a little bit light on action. Still, even the thinnest episode of Daredevil contains a ninja battle or two, so what’s there to complain about? (Spoiler alert: Josh and Kevin, as usual, find something to complain about.)

A new Daredevil podcast will drop every week day for the remainder of the season, continuing tomorrow with episode twelve, “The Dark at the End of the Tunnel.”
