Marvel’s Jessica Jones Season 1 Episode 11 Recap | AKA I’ve Got The Blues

Listen to the podcast:

Blue might be the warmest color, but red is filled with rage.

Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Kevin Mahadeo (@kevmahadeo) lash out with “AKA I’ve Got The Blues,” the eleventh episode of “Marvel’s Jessica Jones,” and they are having the best time ever with Officer Simpson, now that he’s gone Full Nuke. They’re not quite sure how “Jessica Jones” wound up at its current point in the plot, but they are pleased with the results nevertheless — mostly, at least.

Check back on Tuesday (December 8) for the penultimate episode of the podcast, covering “AKA Take A Bloody Number.”

This series is probably my favoite comic book to screen adaptation. This is due to the meaningful emotion it was able to get me all feely about. I found myself welling up or full-frontal crying each episode. It’s the only show I felt I had to binge watch & still enjoyed. I binge watched “Breaking Bad” before the final season & never enjoyed it like everyone else seemed to. I also got a bit tired watching “Daredevil” each day to keep up with your podcasts. For “Jessica Jones” after catching up to the first two podcast you did & watching the third episode, I just couldn’t wait thus binge watching the rest. (I haven’t commented before now as I listen to these at work & forget to comment or what thoughts I had at the time.)

Also, I’d like to hear detail about your dislike of the latest “BvS: DoJ” trailer? I have my issues with the dialogue in it though I have the same issues with most of the Marvel movie trailer’s dialogue. I disliked the trailers for “GotG” & “Ant-Man” for this reason, but enjoyed the lines when watching the movies. Lex is my only concern at this point, but I try to stay hopeful as I’ve learned from previous experiences. If Lex is basically what we see then I’ll hate it just as much as I hated a lot of the performances in “AoU”, as they feel similar. I know you enjoyed “Age of Ultron”, but it’s the only MCU that I loathe.

Were Kilgrave and Freddy Kruger to work together as lawyers, I believe their biggest rival would be the law firm of Voorhees, Luthor, Dracula & Mazzaro.

So Robyn Knocks her out for a night, but she pretty much shrugs off and walks away from the vehicle accident???
