Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Antonio Mazzaro (@acmazzaro) announce the launch of their Mr. Robot podcast, all about the USA psychological techno-thriller from creator Sam Esmail and star Rami Malek. The show focuses on Elliot Alderson (Malek), a cybersecurity expert by day and vigilante hacker by night, who wrestles with various demons from drug addiction to extreme social anxiety. Elliot finds himself drawn into the world of corporate intrigue and an increasingly powerful revolutionary movement… and to say any more would be to say too much.
In this introductory podcast, Josh and Antonio set the table for Mr. Robot, singing its praises on a technical and thematic level, while stopping short of revealing many (almost any) plot details.
Every week leading up to the season two premiere on July 13, Josh and Antonio will be recapping one episode of Mr. Robot season one, taking it in two parts: starting with a spoiler-free section, before closing out with a spoiler-filled discussion. There will be a very obvious audio cue between sections, making the Robot Road project the perfect destination for new and old Mr. Robot viewers alike.
