I’m confused. I listened to this podcast to get your take on this first episode and despite the fact that you all did a great job of painting a fair tonal picture of the stars, and basic roles, you barely touched on the plot and even went so far as to call a “spoiler alert” about something terrible that happened in the episode. Then you decided to open up the discussion to spoilers and proceeded to not talk about any. Isn’t this sort of like reviewing last weeks Survivor episode but not naming the person voted off? Am I also lead to believe that you will not be reviewing this show anymore? Why did you even bother in the first place?

On another note, I am all in on the Mr. Robot show review coming up. I really want to hear your take on that mysterious show.

I’ve already watched all six episodes. It was enjoyable and the talent involved did a great job. I do suspect it probably works better as a book. Without spoiling, it’s a bit of a slow burn, more languid pace than most current thrillers.

Brit here. This show was MASSIVE on british tv earlier this year. I think that us brits prefer slower shows that build to a climax, especially shows without adverts like this one.

I loved it, i really did but it is book-like in tempo as was stated in the podcast

I liked it as well. I’ve binge watched quite a few Brit TV series (mostly crime and suspense) and enjoyed all of them. If Rob’s crew wasn’t so busy podcasting about other TV shows, I would make a list.
