Awesome podcast as always! You guys really hit on all the characters and storylines. I thought the movie was pretty solid and definitely a lot of fun! Was feeling very nostalgic so I rewatched Spider-Man (and am going to rewatch Spider-Man 2 tonight). I think I still prefer the 2002 version overall but Homecoming was still a great movie, and an especially great addition to the MCU.

One of the things I liked most about Homecoming was its portrayal of high school. I loved that the younger cast was more diverse, and that everyone was a nerd, but there was still a nerd hierarchy. That was much more reflective of my own HS experience, so I appreciated that.

Josh, you mentioned at the start that you couldn’t think of any other teen superhero movies. What about Power Rangers? Obviously it wasn’t the best movie, but I still thought it was a lot of fun and definitely had that teen angst/Breakfast Club vibe.
