I think Rob is off the mark about it not being a big deal to have to include an area code for phone numbers that you previously didn’t have to. Within the last couple of years our province (in Canada) had to start including the provincial area code when dialing *any* number because the province ran out of phone numbers … and people freaked out! I’ve also read more than a few news stories of American cities that had to split existing numbers into 2 area codes because they ran out of numbers and everyone had to include the area code when dialing any number (even those in their own area code) and once again, people freaked out. Yes you can just include the area code in your contacts list, but that won’t work for non-frequent numbers you have to dial manually.

Yes, Jerry does know the name of the maid service since he called them to hire the maid. I think the reason Maxwell mentions the name of the service when he’s talking to Jerry and explains that it’s a pun is because he was probably the one that came up with the name and he’s proud of it.

As was already mentioned on Twitter (#CarmenHammer), Last of the Mohaicans was a Michael Mann film starring Daniel Day Lewis. Costner had nothing to do with it. Maybe Rob and Akiva were thinking about Dances With Wolves?

When Akiva was telling his story about his friend in college that was at a restaurant with him but he wouldn’t tip, it sounded just like the opening scene of Reservoir Dogs where Steve Buscemi refuses to tip. Akiva has only seen 10 movies so the odds of RD being one of them is low – maybe he was half-asleep, flipping around the TV dial, and caught this scene, but because he was not fully awake he thinks this scene actually happened to him?
