Please take into consideration the ENTIRE episode, not just one great story line. The “Soup Nazi” story line is great, maybe the best, but the rest of that episode was terrible.

Ugh, this whole Survivor Second Chances thing has really ruined my ability to keep up with this (or any other) podcast. I still haven’t listened to last weeks episode yet. Had I been able to keep up I definitely would have sent in questions/comments for this.

This episode is a great example of how different it is to watch Seinfeld as a kid, instead of as a teenager/adult. When I first saw this episode, I thought they were having a contest on who could go the longest without pooping, seeing as it starts out with George saying he was alone in the bathroom. I only realized a couple years later what the contest was really about.

that’s amazing. lmao 🙂 I unfortunately didn’t start watching Seinfeld until the early 2000’s. I still think its the best sitcom ever and Akiva and Rob are really hitting it out of the park with their recaps now.

“… seeing as it starts out with George saying he was alone in the bathroom.”

I don’t think George says he was in the bathroom. I think it’s implied he was in the living room, but they don’t mention a specific room, just that he was visiting his parents’ home.

The Brad Paisley video with Taylor Swift directed by Jason Alexander, discussed in this podcast, can be found at

Jason Alexander has way more face time than Estelle or Puddy…. Even William Shatner has a role.

This episode is perfection, nothing to nitpick about. I guess if I had to complain about something, it’s that the episode ends with everyone out of the contest and (at the time this aired) we potentially would never know who won.
