Seemed like the tech difficulties they had tonight it took you out of the moment.

    • Tyler Frederickson

Santa Coming to Town part of the show?

    • Mike Bloom

Are you talking about the voiceover flubs at the beginning of Your Second Wife?

      • ChristineInWI

Yes but also when Kenan went to sing at the end of the show his mic was wonky and so were a few others during that (Paul M).

        • Charles Bikle

For some reason, I don’t think the logistics of the cast joining Bruce & the band onstage had been worked out – that part may have been spontaneous.

    • The bummer of live TV. So hard to pull off a technically flawless 90 minute show every week. Amazing how many times they do!

  • Scott French

What’s been up with Michael Che at the end of Update? Does he have a shoe endorsement deal?

    • Scott – I keep forgetting to mention it. I can’t decided if I find it fun or disrespectful.

      • Suzi!

Che always seems like he has a bit of a chip on his shoulder, and not in a funny Belishi way.

  • Mike Bloom

Looking back on the episode, how much did Tina and Amy really interact with the cast? I know that Kenan was probably the only one around when they were there, but it’s interesting that Kate, Aidy, and Kenan may have been the only current cast members to have sketches with them. I still thought it was a great show, but interesting that an episode with two alumni hosts would feel so disconnected from interacting with the current group.

    • Charles Bikle

Kyle Mooney, Cecily, Beck , Sasheer, Rudnitsky, Pete & Jay Pharaoh were non existent this episode.

Can’t imagine they were happy with that.

Wonder how much of Tina & Amy dominating the show was due to sheer starpower vs. perhaps their sketches (that they co-wrote) being the strongest ?

    • An interesting point. Although only the Bronx Beat sketch was devoid of current cast members and that was 12:55am. It might be because having 2 hosts knocked out a slot for a current cast member in every sketch?

  • Brian Hough

has it actually started? i can’t see it anywhere

  • Charles Bikle

So it’s pretty much a given that the very next show will have Keenan as Steve Harvey f***ing up as host of an awards ceremony of some sort ?

  • Brian Hough

Kinda glad this show got delayed so I could think of a question- How bummed must Kenan be that the Steve Harvey/Miss Universe thing didn’t happen a week ago?
