Half way through and this episode has already made up for the crap first half of the season!

  • Chris Edwards

Do you agree with the decision to have this episode as the mid-season premiere? Would it have been better as a mid-season finale?

    • TrentC

Had enough action and felt like it could have been a season, if not series finale to me. Really enjoyed that episode.

  • Emily Stobs

What was going through your mind when it looked like they were going to kill of Glenn again?? #GlennFakeOut

  • Emily Stobs

Did you find it inspiring to watch the entire town work together with Rick and Co help fight off the walkers??

  • Carol Gillis

Excellent mid season premiere. Things are looking up after a couple of stinkers. Loved that massacre sequence with each getting a moment of glory. Be interesting to sit in on their debrief after the events. Abraham and his military finery rocking it.

  • Padidles

I skipped the first half of season 6 out of early episode boredom , should I go back and watch? Did I actually miss anything

    • david

If you’re serious about watching this vampire-apocalypse soap opera, then I would suggest you should watch what you have missed because there is plot progression that will help with what is coming. However, if you were bored with the first few episodes of season 6, which rabid fans and casual fans alike think were some of the most engaging of the first-half, then you would likely be even more bored with the episodes you missed. If that’s the case, why even bother with the show at all?

  • Carol Gillis

So, I think I have the start time wrong. It must be Pacific time. Ahaha.

  • TrentC

Wow. From Daryl at the beginning of the show right to the closing moments, an episode that felt like a great finale to a season.

When Sam, Ron and their Mom were being eaten I thought it was just a dream sequence. An incredible hour of TWD.

    • S_Carl_Dixon

My wish actually came true….but in a much more awesome way of course!!! RonDouche getting killed by Michonne’s katana was even more satisfying than getting eaten alive!!! YES~~ xDDD

      • TrentC

I just about made the call with Michonne using her katana on Ron. What I missed or didn’t see clearly is when the gun went off and hit Carl in the eye. It’s worth it to check out the Talking Dead episode for this show. Among other good tidbits they have a Carl prosthetic dummy that looks so real it’s creepy.

        • S_Carl_Dixon

The prosthetics were INSANE!! And the eye make-up on Chandler was also creepy but so cool at the same time~~ I can see that being a Halloween thing from now on! xDD

I think we were all suppose to miss the gun going off in Carl’s direction….so that when we see Carl having blood drip down his face and then his eye blown off….it would be one of those epic shocking moments of the series!! Damn, I still can’t get over how real and badass it looked~ LOL

  • Wild_Orchid

Did Rob really just say he thought Jessie & Rick were
going to do the whole blended family thing? Seriously? What show are you people
watching? Michonne has pretty much been mothering Carl & Judith (at Rick’s
request might I add) for quite a while now and she is co-habitating with the
Grimes’. That right there is your blended family. Jessie was and will always be
a plot device. Rick has known Jessie for less than a month. How much mourning
do you expect him to do? Not sure how many times I have to say this but
Richonne is happening. The writers have been slow burning that story for a
    while now. Accept it.

    • It’s Valentine’s Day – I don’t want to live in a world where love doesn’t exist.

      • Wild_Orchid

Nicole needs to come and get her husband. He is clearly suffering from some sort of exhaustion or something. Rick did not love Jessie and it was never about Jessie. She was nothing more than a failed attempt at a Lori substitute. To call his borderline infatuation, unresolved guilt, and misplaced emotion, love is an insult to what he and Lori had. As annoying and problematic as she was there was actual genuine love between them

TWD world is a better place without the Anderson’s in it. Now, go get some rest. You have a big week ahead of you.

  • BCRenton

That. was. awesome. What an episode! Fun. Crazy. Action-Packed. Zombie Deaths!!! Comic book reader here, and not the crazy “this show needs to be just like the book” reader. This was just fun and something they can work forward from.

Attached is a pic of Alexandria (not perfect I’m sure) to get a better idea of how the community is or was set up. Spencer was in the watch tower when the wolves truck rammed into it. The watch tower is the same building that collapsed onto the fence at the end of 607 which opens an entrance for the walkers. Outside the fence, farther away from the WT, is a church that was there before the apocalypse. This is the church where Glen and Enid were looking for the “Bible Gloc”. Also it’s the first time this church has been shown. Inside the fence is a makeshift church for Father Gabriel and that’s where we see the random Alexandrians gathered. There is a mention of the Bible Gloc church previously by Eugene. He thought it was a waste that the first expansion of Alexandria was just to include the BG church.

  • Reynaldo Hernandez Aponte

    YES!!!! Walking Dead Book Club!!!!!

I thought this episode was plot-less and mayhem for the sake of mayhem.

The season is based on needing to get the zombie horde clear of Alexandria b/c they cannot take the zombie horde head on.

At the end of the episode, what are they doing? Taking the zombie horde head on.

The best part was Carl potentially dying. To bad he didn’t.

The logistics of Alexandria have never been properly set.

From the horn blowing in episode one from it taking the people by the road FOREVER to get back to Alexandia; to,

The Wolves attack where 10’s of 10’s of Alexandrian cannon-fodder appear out of no where to be killed (v who was present at big back yard town meeting where Rick was potentially going to be banished); to,

the basic scope and size and location of things in Alexandria.

    The show is a mess.

Alexandria is only better than the Hershal’s Farm season which was torturously slow.

  • S_Carl_Dixon

Yes!! Glad Rob is finally on board with the Morgan and Carol Ship!! XD

What do you guys expect will happen for the rest of the season? And what do you want to happen? Now that Glenn and Maggie are reunited what do you guys think will happen to them?….and what are the chances of their child surviving the pregnancy? Is it possible to eventually have 2 babies on the show?

And Finally since this was a Valentine’s Day Special….and there’s currently quite a few potential couples on the show….I thought it might be fun to rate their chances with hearts on whether their relationship wil withstand the test of the Apocalypse!! 5 hearts means Hell Yes!! and 1 or 0 hearts means Hell NO!! >_____<

  • S_Carl_Dixon

I’m also really looking forward to the bookclub, even though I haven’t read the comics…and probably won’t have the time to do so….but I’m not worried about being spoiled, since the show is totally different….I’m just really curious to find out the differences….and what the show did or did not do compared to the comics, especially the differences with how Carl got his eye shot out~~ >_< That's gonna be really fun to find out….so I'm excited for that…and can't wait to listen to it!!! 😀

  • aardvarkratnik

The wolf is Australian, not British.

  • Brett Barsanti

There are some parallels that I noticed with the Carl/Governor eye thing:

-Carl lost the same eye that the governor lost, his right eye, though I guess there are only two options for which eye he could have lost

-Michonne is the one who stabbed the governor’s eye and it was Michonne stabbing Ron that led to the bullet going into Carl’s eye, so whether it be directly or indirectly, Michonne caused both

-Ron died in that scene much the same way that the governor died, stabbed through the back by Michonne as he was about to kill Rick (well I guess technically the governor got killed later by getting shot in the head, but you get the point)

  • Alli P. Just saw this article on yahoo. Apparently during the Negan Gang Explosion you can see a car or something else in the distance down the road. Do you think this was a production mistake or did someone witness the explosion? I would love to hear Rob and Josh theorize who could have been in the background and what implications would it have on our survivors?

  • Tim Forbes

Was Morgan ultimately right about the Wolf and do you think Carol realised this after killing him?

  • The Honest Trailers team is taking another swing at The Walking Dead. Thoughts?

  • TP222

    Have people heard about this?
