I assumed the person in the shadows at the end was Dwight. Doesn’t he still have Darryl’s crossbow?

    • sunny

i completely missed that. I’ll admit i’m losing interest in TWD. I saw the guy in the shadows and just thought, ok Darryl’s there to help take out Neegan but much more interesting if it’s Dwight.

      • Andiamo

I think they left it ambiguous on purpose, but I can’t see Darryl risking showing up there alone. Not for Sasha and Rosita.

  • Isaiah Dustin Parter

I’m pretty sure the person at the end was Dwight. They just wanted to mislead you into thinking it was Daryl since they both have a crossbow.

Haven’t listened to this yet, but it will be interesting to hear everyone’s take on Rosita now that I know that of all the cast, Christian Serratos may actually listen to these podcast since she has gotten into Survivor due to her friendship with Johnny Fairplay.

I didn’t think they could redeem Rosita for me, but this episode did it in two ways.
    1) I got the impression that Abraham was the first man she had ever loved, so her grief reaction becomes more understandable/forgivable to me.
    2) If your reaction to the Zombie Apocalypse is to turn into Sarah Connor, I support you.

One thing we know about the zombie horde is that they let GLBTQIZ people live at ten to a hundred times their pre-apocalypse rate. That is the mark of TV shows in the 2010s.

Unless you’re in the 100 and have to go on an even worse show like Fear the Walking Dead, then they give you a horrible death.

Josh and Alex did not notice that Gregory offered Jesus TEQUILA at the end of the episode. That means he’d either met with Simon at the Savior’s compound already or that Pee Wee Herman had stopped by the Hilltop.

Being a multitasker I usually watch with just one eye on the TV. I count on the RHAPpers to catch these things for me!!

    • Andiamo

I think it was Pee Wee. Gregory has a good stash of his own alcohol. He probably already had some tequila, but starts drinking it because he wants to emulate Simon.

I just don’t think it’s possible that he would’ve met with the Saviors already. Both the Hilltop and Savior’s factory scenes took place the same day. But I am looking forward to that! Negan must absolutely hate Gregory.

My husband came up with the best possible Jesus ship:

    Jesus/Darryl=Holy Cross

Would love to hear Rob’s take on the Talking Dead this week. For my money Rosita is the worst guest they’ve ever had on the show. Not even a surprise Eugene appearance could save her.
