Westworld Preview | Welcome to Westworld

Listen to the Podcast

Welcome to Westworld! Every week, Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Jo Garfein (@jopinionated) will discuss the new HBO series about an old west theme park built in a futuristic world, populated by robot hosts and human guests. Theories, analysis, and overall madness is sure to ensue.

In their first podcast, Josh and Jo set the table for what to expect with Westworld, charting the all-star cast (including Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris) and creative team (J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot production company, as well as The Dark Knight writer and Person of Interest creator Jonathan Nolan), the show’s origins as a 1973 film, the themes they expect to see play out over the course of the first season, and more.

Keep an eye out for the following helpful links to go live once the podcast begins in earnest:

I am soooooo excited for this series, I thought it would be a movie & shocked to see it is a tv series.
The cast is beyound what you would think you could get for a tv show.

What a coincidence Just before coming to Post Show Recaps to see if there was something to listen to, I set my DVR to record Westworld. I was having great hopes that I’d like the show, but now I’m excited because there’ll be great podcasts to go with it. I really enjoyed listening to Jo on her 100 podcast with AJ. I’m glad I’ll be hearing you more on PSR!

Looking forward to the show, it can’t be any worse than the 100.

i dont think ed harris and the great sir anthony would ever sign on to do the 100, let alone the 100 being on the gold standard of all gold standards HBO. this will be good..

That’s Jo’s main focus for podcasting. The 100 is laughably bad and always takes you out of the world with its ridiculousness. This looks like it has potential.
