The Walking Dead | Season 10, Episode 4 Recap: “Silence the Whisperers”

Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Jessica Liese (@HaymakerHattie) are throwing people into walls and making a break for it in their podcast discussion about The Walking Dead season 10, episode 4, “Silence the Whisperers.”

Okay, so, no actual people were thrown into the walls during the recording of this podcast. The same cannot be said for the denizens of Alexandria, as Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) kills one of the most prominent members of the Highwaymen (yep, they’re still around) in an attempt to defend ex-Whisperer Lydia (Cassady McClincy). As a result, the Alexandria council must vote on what to do about Negan — but before they can cast their ballots, he’s in the wind, his exact whereabouts currently unknown.

Over at the Hilltop, a tree has fallen, causing all kinds of panic. Ezekiel (Khary Payton) starts to doubt himself, sending him on a quest outside of the community, and into the warm embrace of an unexpected stranger: Michonne (Danai Gurira). Their connection may come somewhat out of place for fans of the show only, but comic book readers certainly read quite a bit into the scene with these two powerful warriors.

Josh and Jess dig into all of those storylines and more, engage in listener feedback, and dive into the spoiler-filled comic book zone as well. Comic book spoilers kick in around the 56 minute mark.
